Professional Dog Training on the South Shore

She is excellent at explaining and demonstrating all types of basic obedience as well as teaching good doggie manners. From taking a simple walk to having people over the house life is so much more enjoyable with our well behaved dog. She helped my golden retriever achieve her Canine Good Citizen certificate (something that I didn’t think possible) and I am so pleased with our 'new and improved' dog. Corey’s love for dogs is obvious as is her strong work ethic and I am so happy to have found her. I would highly recommend her for all their dog training needs.

Although Murray was the canine client for Corey’s Canine Good Citizen training, Sweeney was happy to wag along while his little brother went through his paces. Corey is amazingly patient with both the canine and the human, and we all enjoyed Murray’s almost always graceful growth and development. Corey then stayed with us as a volunteer with the Cohasset Working Dog Foundation as Murray successfully moved through the training for certification as a therapy dog. And I know Corey as a volunteer with the Scituate Animal Shelter as well. To say that Corey knows, loves, and respects our animals is only to begin describing how much this trainer shapes and changes the lives of both the humans and the animals in her care. I have sent friends with dogs to Corey confident that the people and their dogs will be in good hands. I recommend Corey Steinberg whole-heartedly and without reservation.

I knew as soon as we met that she was going to love and advocate for my dog just as much as I do. That feeling alone was a key factor that was lacking with previous trainers I had tried. Corey is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to dogs and their behaviors. My girl Whinnie is very particular, with lots of nervous quirks, and Corey took all that into consideration when creating a plan for us. She took the time to listen and ask questions, and then created a personalized plan tailored exactly to Whinnie’s and my needs. She taught us so much, and gave me tools that I continue to use with Whinnie every single day. In addition to the amazing training, Corey went above and beyond in helping me with any questions and concerns I had. She took the time to research special harnesses for Whinnie, helped me with food and supplement questions, and even bought Whinnie some of her favorite toys. I could go on forever, but Corey truly is the best!

She has a way with dogs of all breeds and sizes and looks for the individual potential in each of them to do this kind of work.

As first time dog parents, I not only appreciated Corey’s training style, but also that she stopped to explain Mac’s behaviors so that we could understand how his brain was working and manage our expectations. Now at almost a year old, Mac has a solid foundation and even waves hello! Most importantly, Mac adored Corey and she really loves her clients. I’d recommend Corey to anyone looking for dog training!
