Professional Dog Training on the South Shore

As first time dog parents, I not only appreciated Corey’s training style, but also that she stopped to explain Mac’s behaviors so that we could understand how his brain was working and manage our expectations. Now at almost a year old, Mac has a solid foundation and even waves hello! Most importantly, Mac adored Corey and she really loves her clients. Corey is a godsend! Corey was recommended for her expertise, compassion, and effective training methods. Her love for dogs was apparent the first time we met. Not only did she train our Goldendoodle Brewster, but she trained me on best practices so we could reach our goals together. Dog training can be stressful, but Corey makes it fun. We knew we had to start from scratch and build his confidence from the ground up. That’s when we found Corey, and what a blessing she ended up being. Buddy is a big boy, people tend to shy away from him because of it, but Corey fell in love with him instantly. And vice versa. Buddy trusted Corey immediately, it was an amazing sight to see considering everything Buddy has been through. She’s not only good at training your dog, she’s good at training the people too! I never even realized how important it is to train the owners along with the dog. She’s incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and it’s obvious that all she wants is to bring you and your dog closer together with training. She taught us everything in such a way that made it fun for both us and our dog. Seeing Buddy’s confidence grow every day as we continue to use her training is a gift that I can’t thank her for enough!

Tuck and I met Corey when he was just about a year old. He is an exuberant, big, blocky golden retriever. I work with special-needs children in a hospital setting and Tuck joined our family with a goal of becoming a therapy dog. We worked with her consistently through our Therapy Dog training program. In addition, we also worked with her independently to obtain his Canine Good Citizenship certificate. Tuck is a loving, exuberant boy. Corey was able to guide us in corralling his young energy and directing it in a happy, productive way. She did this without curbing his enthusiasm while safely allowing his personality to shine. His wonderful loving golden spirit bring smiles everywhere, thanks to Corey’s kind, patient and amazing skill. Tuck adores her!

Working with Corey is so accessible. She worked with my Labrador Bonnie to help us get through the AKC Good Citizen test and become a certified therapy dog team. She is always strength based which makes it feel so judgement free. She was able to use Bonnie's strengths to support her on things she struggled with. I cannot recommend Corey enough, I know my dog loves her and she is so easy to work with.
